Fishing at Big Woods Springs is restricted to dues-paying members and guests of dues-paying members. Thanks to donations to our Fish Fund, we are investing in the long term health of largemouth bass living in Big Woods Springs Lake. Efforts to that end have included stocking, installing bluegill feeders, as well as testing from outside agencies. In addition to testing water quality, we have surveyed the fish population using an outside lake management company. Based on the findings of our Spring survey, we have implemented to new regulations on fishing for largemouth bass in Big Woods Springs Lake. Adhering to these regulations should help increase the size and health of our largemouth bass population.

- All largemouth bass 16 inches long and long, must be immediately and safely returned to the water.
- All largemouth bass under 16 inches long, must removed from the lake.
- No regulations on the bluegill, crappie, and catfish.
